We take pride in creating a genuine conversation between Jurors, unimpeded by outside manipulations or biases. This is important to both ensure the integrity of the process and the Jury recommendations.
We take a number of steps to address the objectivity of the Jury. Each day, Jurors complete evaluations on facilitation and staff. We also ensure that partners, public observers, and witnesses refrain from interacting with Jurors during the process, so that all Jurors take in the same information. We gather and carefully record deliberation results, then craft the Jury’s final recommendations based upon the their own words and approval.
There’s also an opportunity for Jurors to include a personal statement about the experience. This evaluation is added into the final report that is made available to the public.
