In January 2021, the Center for New Democratic Processes, in partnership with Citizens Juries cic, conducted the Fit For the Future (FFTF) Citizens’ Jury project. FFTF is a program from Gloucestershire NHS organizations (“One Gloucestershire”) which proposes changes to how certain specialist hospital services are organized across the two main sites: Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals. This 8-day online jury assessed the reorganization of hospital services at Cheltenham General and Gloucestershire Royal hospitals. NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group commissioned the study.
